Coorg cuisine is one of the most unique Indian cuisines. Coorg (AKA Kodagu), nested amid the panoramic hills and steep valleys , is a district located in North-West Karnataka. The misty and cold weather in this region accompanied by non-stop heavy rains most time of the year brought forth the flavourful & filling cuisine.
It mainly composes meat gravies, pork- based dishes & a variety of ‘one of kind’ “breads” to go with the curries. Pork is the speciality of Coorg cuisine.
